Mystical attachment to the Nguni cattle
I discovered the almost mystical attachment that the Xhosa have for cattle, not only as a source of food and wealth, but as a blessing from God and a source of happiness
2- PRINCE WILLIAM & DAMIAN ASPINALL
The Baby Gorilla Oudiki was the inspiration for this sculpture created in white gold, set with blue sapphires and brown & black and white diamonds.
This sculpture helped to raise funds for Prince Williams’s charity Tusk and the Aspinall Foundation. Accompanied by Damian Aspinall, the gorillas jetted out to Gabon on a nine-hour flight from Farnborough Airport laid on by Virgin businessman Sir Richard Branson.
The Gorillas, which are hand-reared in Kent are free again and return to live wild in Africa. Oudiki was one of three gorillas hand-reared by zookeepers in Britain after being rejected by their mothers that made a return to the wild in their native African homeland. The two wild animal parks in Kent House said to be the largest collection in human care, to help halt the extinction of the endangered species.

Not only is the orchid the favourite flower of Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden but it also represents an extremely large family of flowering plants. You will find that this genus is huge and that there are all kinds of flowers that are within it – like children of our world. You will see that orchids and children who will be looked after, who will be cultivated and mentored will turn into all kinds of great flowers.
In 2010 Sabine travelled to Leh in Ladakh (“land of high passes”) a former Kingdom in the Indian Himalayas. Now one of the most untouched Buddhists parts in the region Sabine wanted to create a special collection jewelry with the local craftsmen. But faith had other plans and got her & her friends stranded in the biggest natural disaster in history. After surviving this catastrophe and fleeing through the mountains towards Kashmir, Sabine wanted to give back to the community and started the project FROM YOU WITH LOVE where with ONE bracelet you support ONE child for a year. When FYWL (“FROM YOU WITH LOVE”) collaborated with TOMS SHOES in the States, they raised significant funds to start building a school in the affected. The aim is not just to build a new school that is a safe & protective environment for kids but also – for the first time in that region – to create a school where girls and not only boys can learn as well.
